THE PROPER LABEL® / MAISON DE SPORT

Size guide

A quiet guide to proportion, movement and the way a piece is meant to be worn. Choose a wardrobe, then a family.

Measurements are model-specific. A garment measurement taken flat is never a body circumference.

01 / TAILORING

Tailoring, with intention

Tailoring begins with proportion: a considered shoulder, space through the chest and a line that falls without effort. These notes share how each piece is intended to be read; every model keeps its own table, its own cloth and its own quiet character.

How to read a tailored piece

Body — measure shoulders, chest, waist and seat on the person. Garment — measure the finished piece flat, naming every point. Fit — read the shoulder line, ease, rise, break and intended volume. If you are between sizes, choose the silhouette you prefer and ask Fit & Concierge to confirm it for the model.

02 / FOOTWEAR

Footwear, by construction

Foot length is only the beginning. Read the product’s own last, upper and sole construction before comparing sizes.
