Maison de Sport® / La Maison
La vision et le fondateur
Camille Tanoh / Fondateur

A French perspective.
An open horizon.
The Proper Label begins with a personal proposition: to bring the considered language of a French maison into the culture of sport.
For Camille Tanoh, a French designer of Ivorian descent living in New York, these worlds sit naturally together. French identity, Ivorian roots and American experience give the Maison its point of view.
The ambition is a wardrobe that feels composed and lived in. Pieces that accompany a person through work, movement and the moments that gather us together.

02 / Journey
One idea,
successive chapters.
Footwear, image and a growing wardrobe: the work develops through objects and the stories around them. These selected archive chapters trace that progression.

Maison de Sport
That attention to the individual piece extends into a wardrobe shaped by tailoring, movement and belonging.
03 / Values
Care is a form
of respect.
Clarity in design. Attention to how a garment moves. Respect for the person wearing it. The Maison carries these values through its objects, its images and the way it welcomes a client.
04 / Discography
Sound & rhythm.
A space for the founder’s recordings and musical selections. The discography will be introduced here as its first entries are shared.
05 / Open Head
Keep the conversation open.
A perspective can be precise without being closed. Open Head is a space to consider the connections between fashion, culture and sport — and the questions that move them forward.
06 / Unclothe & Self-Esteem
The person comes first.
Clothing can accompany confidence; it does not define a person’s worth. The Maison’s approach begins with ease, dignity and room for an individual identity.
07 / Identity Upgrade
More fully yourself.
A wardrobe evolves with the life around it. A new proportion, a familiar piece worn differently, a more deliberate selection: identity is allowed to grow without losing its centre.
