Shipping & Returns

Shipping

We will ship all orders Monday-Friday. All orders received by 11:00AM EST will ship the Same Business Day, Mon-Fri. Orders placed after 11:00AM EST will ship the following business day. Note that all orders placed after 11:00AM ET on Fridays, Saturday or Sunday will not ship until the Next Business Day. Please note that FEDEX cannot deliver to P.O. Boxes or APO/FPO addresses.

Taxes and duties

All orders shipped to the states of California, New Jersey, and New York are subject to state sales tax. Some orders to the US will ship internationally. Orders to the USA that involve international shipments are shipped on a DDP (Delivery Duty Paid) basis, meaning all import taxes and duties are included in the final price. Hence, your order will not be subject to any additional charges.

Important information

All orders are fully traceable at our website. Delivery times are provided as guidelines only, and do not take into account possible delays caused by payment authorization and/or stock availability. We are unable to deliver to post office (PO) boxes, APO or FPO addresses.

First-Time Order Policy

For security purposes, The Proper Label ™ reserves the right to ship first-time orders to the cardholder’s verified billing address or work address. To avoid delays in receiving your order, please make sure to provide the correct billing and shipping information associated with your credit/debit card when placing an order. We recommend entering a shipping address where someone will be present to sign for and accept the order to ensure a smooth delivery.

Insurance

The Proper Label ™ insures each purchase during time in transit until it is delivered to you. Orders may require signature upon delivery, at which point responsibility for the shipment passes to you. If you have specified a recipient other than yourself for delivery purposes, you also accept that signature by the third party is sufficient proof of delivery and fulfilment by The Proper Label ™.

Pre-Orders

Certain items are available for pre-order. The items you pre-order will be reserved for you, and will be shipped to you as soon as they become available. The estimated shipping date is noted on the product page and in the checkout process. If you place an order with pre-order items and in-stock items, you will receive separate shipments and shipment confirmations when each item is dispatched. Need help with your returns? How to Return or Exchange an item on The Proper Label ™?

Visit https://theproperlabel.myreturnscenter.com/ and create a return.You will receive an email notification.Follow the return instructions as per the applicable returns method for shipping. When the package is received, you will receive Shipment received return notification.We will inspect the item (s), proceed to the applicable returns resolution method (returns, Exchanges, refunds) and notify you by email.

Returns

You have 14 days from receiving your order to request your return, exchange or refund and send your purchase back to : Items returned to us must be unused with all THE PROPER LABEL tags still attached, in the original packaging as you received it.

Need a different size?

There’s no cost to exchange your purchase if you’re based in the US. Although if you’re based outside the US, taxes and duties are applicable and you will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs. If you wish to try another style, simply return it for a store credit refund and purchase the new item separately.Returns that do not meet our policy will be sent back to you.

Exchanges

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at info@theproperlabel.us before returning your purchase back to us.

Refunds

As soon as you’ve decided you’d like a refund, visit https://theproperlabel.myreturnscenter.com/ and create a return.Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If you are approved, you will choose to receive your refund either as a store credit or back to the original payment method. If your order has been sent to a destination within the US or Canada, all sales taxes will be refunded. Outside the US and Canada, customs duties and sales taxes are non-refundable through THE PROPER LABEL. However, you may be able to recover these by contacting your local customs bureau or by hiring a customs broker. If your order has been sent to Australia, you will receive a refund of duties and Goods and Services Tax (GST).Please note that refunds can take up to 10 working days to show on your account due to varying processing times between payment providers.

Late or missing refunds

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again. Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted. If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at info@theproperlabel.us

Sale items

Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.

Gifts

If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.

If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and he will find out about your return.

Shipping

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for ordering and returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.

For every item that you are shipping, visit https://theproperlabel.myreturnscenter.com/ and create a return. Use a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

Shipping Delays

For your convenience it's always advisable not to wait until the last minute to place your order. You will receive a delivery estimate when you place your order based on the ship method you have chosen. We are not responsible for late shipments due to increment weather, holidays, natural disasters, or carrier delays. Please keep in mind holidays do not count as a business day and should be considered when calculating shipping times. International Shipments

All international customers are required to submit a signed credit card authorization form complete with supporting documents. Once you've placed your order you will be contacted by Customer Service to provide this information. International Shipments must clear customs. The rules and requirements for customs clearance vary from country to country. It is your responsibility to pay any additional taxes, fees or duties or to arrange for any permits or special paperwork that may be required. Invoices are sent with all shipments. This is the only document that will be sent with your shipment.

Your delivery options

Our goal is to ship orders as quickly and as accurately as possible, same day priority delivery is given to named two day or faster shipping methods domestically. If the order is placed before 12 PM EST - we will make every attempt to ship the order the same day. For orders placed after 12 PM EST, the order will still process and ship as a priority, but may not go out until the following day. Our delivery options vary from your location. Please note, orders made after 5.30 PM EST on Friday and during the weekend will be process and ship the following Monday.

Courier

FEDEX INTERNATIONAL PRIORITY Delivery between 9am-8pm, Monday to Friday Receive your purchase within 1 - 3 business days. Next business day delivery to the U.S., Canada, Mexico and the Caribbean from most countries. Reach major cities in Europe typically in two business days. USPS PRIORITY MAIL EXPRESS Delivery between 9am-8pm, Monday to Friday Receive your purchase within 1-2 business days. Guaranteed expedited service Includes $100 of insurance coverage. Taxes and duties Taxes and duties are calculated according to your shipping destination. If you’re based outside the US, you may or may not have to pay an import/duty tax for your international purchase based on the import regulations of their country. If it is applicable, you will be responsible for paying for it. PO boxes We are unable to deliver to PO boxes or forwarding addresses (including Aramex addresses) at this time.

How to track your order

Once your order has left our warehouse, you will receive an email and a text message (if applicable) containing a tracking number to track its progress.

Signing for your purchase

All our delivery are “sign for / signature required”. When your orders arrive to the specified address to be signed for, if you are unavailable, the courier will make two more attempts to deliver your purchase. Our policy

Items returned to us must be unused with all THE PROPER LABEL tags still attached, in the original packaging as you received it within 14 days of receipt. Returns that do not meet our policy will not be accepted and will be sent back to you.

Shoes

Please return all items, including the dust bag, the laces and box. When you try them on, stand on a carpeted surface to protect the soles.

Apparels

Please return all items, including the tags and packaging. Please try them on a clean, covered area to protect the garments.

Limited edition products

As these items are highly collectable, please only remove the protective cover and packaging once you are certain that you wish to keep them.

Late returns

Your item(s) should be sent back to us within 14 days of receiving you order. Returns outside this timeframe may be accepted at the discretion of THE PROPER LABEL and may only be refunded as a store credit.

Faulty goods

Goods are classified as faulty if they are not of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose or as described. Please note that items which are damaged or as a result of normal wear and tear; by accident; or through misuse will not be considered faulty. If your item is faulty when you receive it, you can return it for a refund within 30 days from the date you received it. If you have owned your item for longer than this, and certainly over 6 months, then please e-mail info@theproperlabel.us

Colours

We have made every effort to display the colours of our products that appear on www.theproperlabel.us as accurately as possible. However, as computer monitors, tablets and mobile devices vary, we cannot guarantee that your monitor's display of a colour will be completely accurate.
